TWO DAY DIVE COURSE

Gain valuable experience of deep and navigation diving, under the watchful eye of a PADI diving instructor who will give you more knowledge, hints and tips in the five dives of the advanced open water diver course, than you would learn through trail and error in your next 20 dives.

Non PADI open water divers.

If you have your basic diving certification from another recognised diver training agency and you want to further your diving knowledge and experience, the PADI advanced diving course is ideally suited to you.

Prerequisite:

PADI open water certificate or equivalent diver rating with another dive training agency.

The dive course takes two days and involves five open water dives at our great Gran Canaria dive sites - two compulsory dives; deep diver and navigation diver and three chosen dives from the list below:

Boat diver. Wreck diver, Search & Recovery, Fish ID, Peak buoyancy, Drift diver, DPV, Project AWARE, U/W naturalist, and Multilevel diver

After reading the relevant short chapters from the advanced diver manual (available at dive centre,) you must complete the five Knowledge reviews to be checked by your instructor. There are no exams and the dive course is less informal than the open water diver course.

When you have completed your three elective dives and the two core dives you will receive your PADI advanced open water certification, which allows you to dive to a depth 30 metres.

Spending time in the water, learning new techniques & procedures and taking your skills to the next level, is what this programme is all about.

 

What’s included: Five open water dives, hotel transfers, all dive equipment rental and certification card.

 

What’s not included: PADI adventures in diving manual.

 

What to bring: Towel, swim gear, sun lotion and four passport photo’s.
